About Correen

My name is Correen Borst-Straub and I started Correen's Creative Designs about six years for three reasons.  The first was to create a way to earn money and still be able to stay home with my three sons.  The second because I love to share my creativity and the third reason is that handmade items always seem more special.

I always like to say I inherited my talent for sewing.  Both my grandmothers were very talented seamstresses in their own rites.  I started sewing when I was about fifteen and haven't stopped since.  I am always looking for ways to hone my skills and learn techniques to share with my customers. 

I am meticioulous about the details, materials and workmanship that go into creating my pieces.  Providing a quality garment at a reasonable price that is just the way the customer wants it is my goal.  I believe quality, durability and uniqueness are very important.  I hope you find my work to be all the above.
